On January 29, the employees of the 47th State Fire and Rescue Department once again conducted educational work among the residents of Vovchansk in order to increase their awareness of safety issues

In the winter period, unfortunately, the number of people killed in fires in the residential sector, as well as deaths due to poisoning by combustion products from home heating means, increases significantly. Usually, citizens themselves can prevent tragic accidents by following elementary rules of fire safety in everyday life, but in most cases they do not pay enough attention to this issue. In general, since the beginning of 2022, 195 fires have been eliminated in Kharkiv Oblast, of which more than 150 cases occurred in citizens' homes. and the number of dead is 17 people, including 1 child.

Due to fluctuations in air temperature, the ice on reservoirs is not stable and does not always acquire sufficient strength, therefore there is a significant risk to the lives of people who, neglecting their own safety, go out onto the ice.

On January 28, specialists of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, together with representatives of the National Police, employees of the sector for work with the self-organization bodies of the population and street committees of the administration of the Kyiv district of the Kharkiv City Council and mass media conducted a preventive study of the private residential sector of the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. The main goal of these measures was to prevent household fires and their tragic consequences.
